1. Dallas Cowboys

While Jerry Jones may have said that it might take more than one player to change around the defense, this isn’t necessarily true. After trading for George Pickens this past offseason, the Dallas Cowboys’ offense has changed in a good way, and they’ve found profound success along the way. That alone is due to the momentum behind it. It’s hard to see the Cowboys move past the trade deadline without at least making a defense move, especially since they traded away a generational pass-rusher, Micah Parsons, in August.

Either way, the Cowboys’ defense has been one of the worst. Johnson isn’t god, but since the Jets saw a difference in their defense in his return, just imagine what he could provide in Dallas. Even though DeMarvion Overshown is returning soon, they should still trade for Johnson if they want to see a change midseason.
