2. Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson wants to run the football, and D’Andre Swift has done a solid job with the starting role in 2025. However, that shouldn’t stop the Bears for looking for an upgrade, or at the very least, someone who can complement him in the backfield. Caleb Williams has improved from his rookie season, but he’s still not playing up to his potential. Chicago may embrace the ground game, and they could do that via a Tony Pollard trade.
Given their 4-3 record, the Bears have every reason to believe they can make a deep playoff run in 2025. While Williams will determine their ultimate ceiling, Pollard can help take the pressure off the second-year quarterback as the team chases an elusive postseason birth.
