Sell – Chase Brown

I was a huge Brown fan entering the season and had very high hopes for him, just like a lot of others. Unfortunately, it hasn’t panned out. Between bad offensive line play, mixed with bad quarterback play, it has killed Brown’s fantasy upside. Yes, Joe Flacco has looked like 2012 Flacco the past two games for the Bengals, and Brown averaged over 9 YPC in Week 7, but my eyes tell me something different. This team just wants to sling the rock to Chase and Higgins. Brown hasn’t scored a touchdown since week 1, so I’d bet an anytime TD on him this week, but the lack of rushes (19) in the last two games with Flacco isn’t encouraging. In his first three games, he rushed 47 times, and over his last three games, it’s dwindled to 27 attempts. On top of all that, Samaje Perine has been very active in the game plan the last few games. Coming off a very low-touch, high rushing output, I’d be selling high on Brown.
Sell – Isiah Pacheco

Coming into the season, Pacheco looked to be a great bounce-back candidate. Coming off an injury last season, he still doesn’t look like the same player pre-injury. What makes the situation even worse is that Kareem Hunt is getting a majority of the goal-line touches, which used to be Pacheco’s bread and butter pre-injury. His lack of participation in the passing game mixed with the drafting of Brashard Smith, who’s electric, has really made this backfield a guessing game. Pacheco, coming off his best game of the season in Week 7, is someone I’d be looking to sell, even if it’s for an RB on another team who’s the handcuff to one of your starters.
