10) Drake Maye vs. Browns
Maye has been an easy top 10 option every week this season, but this week, he suffers a bit from a tough matchup. The Browns have been stifling opposing QBs as their defense ranks 3rd in the league against the position in fantasy scoring, while their offense doesn’t score enough to force their opponents to push the ball for 4 quarters. The Pats should be able to handle the Browns this weekend, and we are starting Maye in hopes that he is able to contribute with his legs, as he may have to scramble to avoid Myles Garrett and friends. Cleveland will suppress the New England running game, so any scoring that the Patriots achieve will most likely come by Maye’s hand (or arm). Much like some other starting options like Daniel Jones against Tennessee, we have to worry that a lower-scoring game will hold down fantasy points, but Maye has been too good this season to hit your bench.
