1. Los Angeles Chargers
After a 3-0 start to the season, the Los Angeles Chargers are in a bit of a freefall. Thanks to an endless barrage of injuries, the team is 1-3 in its last four games, with the lone win coming against the hapless Miami Dolphins. The Chargers play in arguably the game’s most competitive division, and they must do something to stay in the playoff race.
Rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden set the world on fire over the past two weeks, and perhaps he proves to be the real deal. However, a team like the Chargers shouldn’t place all its faith in an untested fifth-round pick. Veterans Tyler Conklin and Will Dissly are both well past their prime, and a Mark Andrews trade would ensure this team has at least one reliable tight end on the offense. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman will know how to use his former weapon, and Andrews could be the missing piece to stabilize this offense.
