Week 4 of the NFL season is complete. It is time to look ahead to Week 5. Here are the Week 5 wide receiver rankings for fantasy football. The notable wide receivers on bye this week are Drake London, Rome Odunze, Matthew Golden, and DK Metcalf. CeeDee Lamb, Malik Nabers, and Mike Evans are out with injuries.
Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings Week 5
Tier 1: Superstar WR1s
| Rank | Player | Opponent |
| 1 | Puka Nacua | San Francisco 49ers |
| 2 | Amon-Ra St. Brown | Cincinnati Bengals |
| 3 | Justin Jefferson | Cleveland Browns |
| 4 | Nico Collins | Baltimore Ravens |
| 5 | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
| 6 | Garrett Wilson | Dallas Cowboys |
| 7 | Ja’Marr Chase | Detroit Lions |
| 8 | Emeka Egbuka | Seattle Seahawks |
Nabers is out for the year with a torn ACL, while Lamb is still out with an ankle injury, leading to a new name in the top tier of the wide receiver rankings:
- Nacua is off to an incredible start, scoring at least 22 points every week. He just scored 36 fantasy points in Week 4, catching 13 of 15 targets for 170 yards and a touchdown. Nacua is the WR1 in fantasy for the rest of the season.
- St. Brown had his third straight top-seven finish among wide receivers. He now has six receiving touchdowns on the season after catching two in the Week 4 victory. St. Brown gets a great matchup against the Bengals’ defense in Week 5.
- Egbuka had another great performance, despite only catching four of ten targets. He had 101 receiving yards and a touchdown. He has four touchdowns through four weeks on the season and is Baker Mayfield’s WR1 without Evans for the next few weeks.
Tier 2: Proven Solid WR2s

| Rank | Player | Opponent |
| 9 | Davante Adams | San Francisco 49ers |
| 10 | George Pickens | New York Jets |
| 11 | Zay Flowers | Houston Texans |
| 12 | Courtland Sutton | Philadelphia Eagles |
| 13 | Quentin Johnston | Washington Commanders |
| 14 | Tetairoa McMillan | Miami Dolphins |
| 15 | Marvin Harrison Jr. | Tennessee Titans |
| 16 | Jameson Williams | Cincinnati Bengals |
| 17 | Michael Pittman Jr. | Las Vegas Raiders |
| 18 | Chris Olave | New York Giants |
| 19 | Ricky Pearsall | Los Angeles Rams |
| 20 | Xavier Worthy | Jacksonville Jaguars |
The players in this tier are all must-starts this week and will provide plenty of fantasy value throughout the season:
- Johnston continues to be playing at a high level, scoring 23.8 fantasy points. He has scored at least 14 fantasy points in all four weeks so far this season. He saw 13 targets in the Week 4 loss to the Giants. Look for him to continue his success against the Commanders this week.
- After a slow start, Harrison Jr. had a big second half to salvage his fantasy day. He has two games over 18 fantasy points on the season, but two games under eight points. Fantasy managers will have to hope that he and Kyler Murray can build upon their connection and get more of the boom weeks than the bust weeks.

⚡️ 9 targets, 6 receptions, 89 yards, 0 TDs

Tier 3: WR3s With Something to Prove
| Rank | Player | Opponent |
| 21 | Ladd McConkey | Washington Commanders |
| 22 | Deebo Samuel | Los Angeles Chargers |
| 23 | Jaylen Waddle | Carolina Panthers |
| 24 | Keenan Allen | Washington Commanders |
| 25 | Khalil Shakir | New England Patriots |
| 26 | A.J. Brown | Denver Broncos |
| 27 | Elic Ayomanor | Arizona Cardinals |
| 28 | Brian Thomas Jr. | Kansas City Chiefs |
| 29 | Jordan Addison | Cleveland Browns |
| 30 | Jakobi Meyers | Indianapolis Colts |
This tier of players includes wide receivers who are all borderline WR starts this week, depending on the size of your league:
- Johnston’s successes have come at the hands of McConkey’s struggles in fantasy. He caught just one of six targets for 11 yards, scoring 2.1 fantasy points. This is his third straight game with single-digit fantasy points. Fantasy managers are probably still starting McConkey, but it is time to be concerned about him.
- Ayomanor continues to be a focal point of the Titans offense, receiving seven targets. He only caught two of them for 44 yards, but the targets are encouraging.
Tier 4: Potential Flex WRs
| Rank | Player | Opponent |
| 31 | Stefon Diggs | Buffalo Bills |
| 32 | Tee Higgins | Detroit Lions |
| 33 | Jerry Jeudy | Minnesota Vikings |
| 34 | DeVonta Smith | Denver Broncos |
| 35 | Rashid Shaheed | New York Giants |
| 36 | Troy Franklin | Philadelphia Eagles |
| 37 | Wan’Dale Robinson | New Orleans Saints |
| 38 | Jauan Jennings | Los Angeles Rams |
| 39 | Keon Coleman | New England Patriots |
| 40 | Malik Washington | Carolina Panthers |
These guys are FLEX options to fill out your starting lineup:
- Diggs had his best day as a Patriot, catching six passes for 101 yards. He will look to continue that success in a revenge game against the Bills on Sunday Night Football.
- Robinson becomes the WR1 for the Giants and Jaxson Dart after the unfortunate injury to Nabers. He will receive a high target share, but the Giants will be a run-first offense.
