Way Too Early 2025 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

There's not as many household names in the 2025 dynasty rookie rankings, due in part to the quarterback class and some small school standouts.
2025 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

The 2024 dynasty rookie fever has already taken over. Word on the street, the 2025 class is lacking in the quarterback department, but how does it stack up against the 2024 class at other positions? Before trading away 2025 picks to move up in 2024, let’s take a look at the 2025 class.

Way Too Early 2025 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

Early 1.01

Luther Burden, WR Missouri

There’s a small chance that Luther Burden goes number one overall in the actual 2025 NFL Draft. He has hands, aggression, and the ability to break tackles like a running back in space. The 2024 wide receiver class is insane, and 19 year old Burden would fight the top 3 for a spot.

Possible One Overall Options

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

He’s a quarterback with Hall of Fame pedigree, responsible with the ball, and an elite athlete when he wants to use it. If the Buffalos can put together a better offensive line in front of him (pressured the second most times in America in 2023) he can take a serious step forward.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

Fresh off of two separate 1,000 yard seasons, Judkins is now going to play behind the best offensive line of his career. The splits between him and a running back lower on this list will be interesting, but they’re the best backfield in college football.

First Round Rushers and Receivers

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Jeanty combined 569 yards in the air with 1347 on the ground, and had some of the most receptions for a running back in the NCAA. It doesn’t matter what conference he’s in, he can absolutely ball.

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

A healthy Henderson would have been the crown jewel in the 2024 running back class. Instead he goes back to school to split time with Judkins. This likely hurts his draft stock, but he’s still extremely talented.

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

It took about three plays to see what McMillan can be in the NFL. He’s a big bodied receiver who uses his frame well, but is still a capable route runner. Michael Pittman stepped into a time machine and stumbled onto Arizona’s roster.

Ollie Gordon, RB, Oklahoma State

The NCAA’s leading rusher in 2023, Gordon is a big game hunter who is also in the running for RB1 in a loaded class. 2025 dynasty rookie rankings will rise and fall with the running backs, and early indications are that the class is going to be loaded.

Evan Stewart, WR, Oregon

Formerly at Texas A&M, Stewart needs to unlock his route tree a little bit but Oregon can get him right. He has some gears that other receivers just don’t have, but doesn’t separate at a level commensurate with his speed.

Possible Rising Quarterbacks

Drew Allar, QB, Penn State

Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

Picture this: a strong arm quarterback puts it together in their final season before declaring for the NFL. The draft cycle revolves around whether or not the tools are worth the risk. An NFL team decides to take them top ten anyway. Enter Quinn Ewers and Drew Allar, underperforming quarterbacks given the toolsets they possess. Allar is a tight end playing quarterback, and Ewers can throw a football through the eye of a needle sometimes, then can’t hit water if he fell out of a boat other times.

Fringe Round One Dynasty Rookie Options

Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington

This is a flag plant. Coleman is a 5’9″ 225 graveler just waiting to be traded to turn into a golem. He has soft hands, a mean rushing style and is unreasonably difficult to bring down in space.

Omarion Hampton, RB, UNC

Hampton played 2023 with a first round quarterback and a poor offensive line. Even with that, he put together over 1700 yards from scrimmage and was slippery and shifty in space. Did he benefit from a lack of stacked boxes, or is he truly this good? Time will tell.

Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan

Edwards is explosive, exciting and a monster in space. Unfortunately, he’s lacked some vision despite playing behind one of the best run blocking lines in football. If it clicks, he’s as good as they come.

Receivers to Watch for 2025 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

Isiah Bond, WR, Texas

Going from Jalen Milroe to Quinn Ewers is hopefully an upgrade. Bond would have had 1,000 yards in 2023 if they connected more often.

Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

The IDP 1.01, Hunter is more likely to play corner at the next level than wide receiver. If he decides to move to receiver full time, he would be a touch higher.

Ricky White, WR, UNLV

If you haven’t watched a lot of UNLV, I don’t blame you. But the 2023 NCAA receiving leaders were Rome Odunze, Malik Nabers, and Ricky freaking White. He’s listed at 6’1″ 185, but he’s likely smaller. Still a great talent to watch.

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

There’s no Brock Bowers in the 2025 NFL Draft, but Loveland is a capable blocker who was second on the team in yards in 2023.

Running Backs to Monitor

Trevor Etienne, RB, UGA

Jaydn Ott, RB, California

Penny Boone, RB, Louisville

Damien Martinez, RB, Oregon State
