Injuries limited DaQuan Jones to just seven games in the final year of his contract. However, despite the limited playing time, the Bills defensive tackle still managed to put up 2.5 sacks, 16 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, and five quarterback hits while closing up run lanes and freeing linebackers to make plays. With his help, the Buffalo Bills won the AFC East and made it all the way to the AFC Divisional Round before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in a nail-biter.

DaQuon Jones originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Selected by the Tennessee Titans, the Penn State product spent the majority of his rookie season in a reserve role. Appearing in seven games while making one start, the defensive lineman finished the year with one sack, eight tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and two quarterback hits.

After that promising debut, Jones earned a full-time starting job in 2016. Starting and appearing in all 16 games, the defensive lineman finished the season with 45 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and three quarterback hits. He maintained the starting job for the remainder of his duration with the Tennesee Titans. During his seven years in Nashville, Jones made the playoffs three times, making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game in 2019.

In the 2021 offseason, DaQuon Jones left the Titans to sign a one-year contract with the Carolina Panthers. Starting in all 17 games, the defensive tackle finished the season with one sack, 38 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and six quarterback hits. He signed with the Bills one year later, recording two sacks, 38 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and 11 quarterback hits.
