In 2023, Gabriel Davis was expected to take a step forward after setting career highs the year before. Instead, his ascension to elite status stagnated, and he remained eligible for free agency in 2024.

Gabriel Davis began his career with the Buffalo Bills, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He had an underrated start to his career, recording 35 receptions for 599 yards and seven touchdowns despite starting in only 11 of 16 possible games. His performance against the Indianapolis Colts in the playoffs was instrumental in the Bills’ first playoff win in 25 years

Davis had the worst regular season output of his career in 2021 when he finished with 35 receptions, 549 yards, and six touchdowns while starting in only four of 16 available games. However, in the playoffs, he had ten receptions for 242 yards and five touchdowns. He set a record with four touchdowns in one game, an overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

2022 saw Gabriel Davis increase his efficiency on limited targets. He started in 15 of 15 possible games, recording 48 receptions for 836 yards and seven touchdowns.

Gabriel Davis started 2023 with high expectations after showing growth each season and becoming a playoff hero. He started in 15 of 15 games in which he was available, to the tune of 43 receptions for 746 yards and seven touchdowns.

Throughout his career, Gabriel Davis has 161 receptions, 2,730 yards, and 27 touchdowns across 62 games.
