Best NFC Player Props Week 2

Christian McCaffrey Over 64.5 Rushing Yards

This player prop line for McCaffrey is amazing value considering what he did in Week 1. McCaffrey racked up 152 rushing yards on 22 carries while averaging 6.9 yards per carry. The volume McCaffrey received is a great indicator that he will be carrying the ball 15 to 20 times a game regularly. The running back showed his explosiveness as well, getting three 10+ yard rushes including one that went for 65 yards.

He is going against a stout run defense in the Los Angeles Rams that only gave up 84 rushing yards on 18 attempts last week, but last year McCaffrey was able to go over the 64.5 rushing yard line twice against the Rams last year rushing for 69 and 94 yards in two games versus them.

The San Francisco 49ers are favored by -7.5 points, so oddsmakers expect the 49ers to control this game and as seen last week, they will establish the run game through McCaffrey. McCaffrey should hit this line with ease.

Jahan Dotson Over 42.5 Receiving Yards

Jahan Dotson was 3 yards short of hitting this player prop line last week against the Arizona Cardinals, but this line is worth the look again going against the Denver Broncos this week. The Washington Commanders offense last week was balanced, passing the ball 31 times and running 28 times. Dotson saw seven targets, hauling in five receptions for 40 yards. The strong connection between Sam Howell and Dotson that was seen in Week 1 should continue into Week 2.

Broncos have one of the best cornerbacks in the league in Patrick Surtain II and it is assumed he will be assigned to Terry McLaurin all game, opening opportunities for other Commander receivers like Dotson. The Broncos defense last week gave up 200 passing yards and four receptions that went for 15+ receiving yards last week to the Las Vegas Raiders in their loss showing their weakness to defend the pass.

With the Broncos favored at -3.5, it should be a close game that Howell will have to pass in to win opening the door for Dotson to go over the 42.5 receiving yard mark.

Jamaal Williams Over 52.5 Rushing Yards

This player prop line is another great look, especially going against a poor Carolina Panthers defense. Jamaal Williams is the clear number one running back for the New Orleans Saints while Alvin Kamara is out due to suspension. Last week he had 18 rushing attempts while only gaining 45 rushing yards and only averaging 2.5 yards per carry. Williams did go against a top-five rushing defense in the Tennessee Titans in a difficult matchup.

This week he gets a Panthers defense that allowed 130 rushing yards, 5 yards per carry, and five rushes to go for over 10+ rushing yards. Saints have already shown they are going to give Williams significant volume and expect it to continue on Monday against a very weak run defense as seen in week 1.

The Saints are favored by -3.0 points and the over/under line is set at 39.5. Expect a gritty game where the Saints will need to establish the run with Williams giving him a good shot to go over 52.5 rushing yards.
