Fantasy Football Week 16 Stream Team: Each week this column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50% of Yahoo leagues or less.

Every week is a great week when there’s football involved. Each week this column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50 percent of Yahoo leagues or less. This group of players is basically a dream stream team. For reference, the threshold used for wins and losses in this article will be if the quarterbacks can score at least 17 points, if the tight ends can score at least eight PPR points, and if the rest can score at least 10 PPR points. Here is the Week 16 Stream Team.

Week 16 Stream Team

Quarterback – Zach Wilson (NYJ – 7%) v JAX

This recommendation would feel so much better if it was Mike White instead of Zach Wilson but Wilson is still one of the better Week 16 Stream Team candidates at quarterback. Taking back over as the starter since White wasn’t cleared due to fractured ribs, Wilson played very well (for fantasy purposes) against the Detroit Lions this past week. He finished with 23.38 fantasy points after throwing for 317 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Wilson also chipped in seven rushing yards. Most weeks he’ll top that mark as he is fairly athletic and gets on the move more than the average quarterback. This week he gets another great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. It’s been even better lately with the Jaguars’ offense putting up loads of points. That has forced opposing offenses to throw even more than usual against them. That should play beautifully for Wilson this coming week with White very likely to miss this one as well.

Honorable Mentions – Ryan Tannehill (TEN – 41%) v HOU, Gardner Minshew (PHI – 1%) @ DAL

Running Back – Deon Jackson (IND – 7%) v LAC

Jonathan Taylor went down early this past week with an ankle injury and it’s looking very likely that his season is over due to that injury. That leaves Deon Jackson and Zack Moss as the main two options in the Indianapolis Colts backfield. Moss led the way with 24 carries compared to Jackson’s 13 carries but that was more due to the game script than anything. The Colts jumped out to a massive 33-0 lead in the first half (which they blew) and tried to just lean on a grinding running back like Moss. Earlier in the season when Taylor missed time Jackson was very effective when given the lead role. In his two games as a starter, he saw 25 carries and 14 receptions and turned them into 212 total yards and a score. Jackson scored 13.10 and 28.10 fantasy points in those two games. He seems very likely to see double-digit carries and will probably be the guy that sees more of the long down and distance and two-minute offense. That should bode well for him in this week’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Colts are projected to be trailing in this one which would lead to more passing game script. The Chargers have also allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Add it all up and Jackson makes for one of the best Week 16 Stream Team candidates.

Honorable Mentions – Zack Moss (IND – 2%) v LAC, Tyler Allgeier (ATL – 37%) @ BAL

Wide Receiver – Chris Moore (HOU – 19%) @ TEN

Chris Moore was coming off a monster game in Week 14 and looked to be in a great spot this past week only to disappoint. A deeper dive, however, shows encouraging usage heading into Week 16. Moore followed up his 25.40-point performance with an 8.20-point clunker. He caught four balls for 42 yards. The promising part, though, is that Moore saw another nine targets. That makes two straight weeks in which he’s seen at least nine targets. Moore now has 20 targets over the past two weeks combined and that type of usage is extremely hard to find, especially from a waiver-wire guy. Another reason not to give up on the late-season darling is this juicy matchup against the Tennesee Titans. The Titans have been a pass funnel this season as they’ve been stopping the run very well but can’t stop anyone through the air. Teams have decided to all but abandon the run against them. That has led to the Titans allowing the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. If both Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins miss another game, there’s no reason to think Moore shouldn’t get another huge target share. If he gets a bunch of targets against this secondary, he should have no problem destroying them. This makes Moore one of the best Week 16 Stream Team options.

Honorable Mentions – Demarcus Robinson (BAL – 14%) v ATL, Richie James (NYG – 14%) @ MIN

Tight End – Juwan Johnson (NO – 20%) @ CLE

Juwan Johnson started the season slowly but became a regular fantasy option at a thin tight end position by midseason. The signs were there as he had seen some good underlying usage up to that point in the season. Johnson had good snap and route shares but they took another bump up in the middle of the year and that’s when he broke out. Johnson then scored double-digit fantasy points in four out of five games including three straight before suffering an injury. This was his first game being active since the injury and he picked right back up where he left off. Johnson scored a season-high 22.70 fantasy points after catching four of his six targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson has now scored double-digit fantasy points in five of his last six healthy games. He’s clearly a big part of the New Orleans Saints offense. This week’s matchup against the Cleveland Browns doesn’t look great on paper but is not one to shy away from. The Browns are a solid defense but Johnson is just seeing too much volume to ignore at the tight end position. That makes him one of the better Week 16 Stream Team options.

Honorable Mentions – Tyler Conklin (NYJ – 30%) v JAX, Chigoziem Okonkwo (TEN – 29%) v HOU
