Los Angeles Rams wide receiver and reigning Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp has signed a new contract extension with his current team. This deal makes him one of the highest-paid receivers in the game and comes after what was easily the best season of his storied career.
The 3-year extension worth about $75M makes Kupp one of the highest paid WRs in the NFL… as he should be. https://t.co/n1mXwjswts

Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams, Agree to Contract Extension
Cooper Kupp made the most out of his first year with Matthew Stafford. After establishing himself as an above-average starter during his first few years in the league, Kupp took his game to another level during the 2021 campaign. Throughout the course of the season, the wideout finished with a league-high 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns on 191 targets. Kupp continued his phenomenal play in the postseason, recording 33 receptions for 478 yards and six touchdowns on 42 targets throughout the Rams run to the Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Kupp originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Selected by the Los Angeles Rams, the East Washington product immediately made an impact at the professional level. Appearing in 15 games while making six starts, Kupp finished his rookie season with 62 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns. Kupp picked up where he left off in 2018, recording 40 receptions for 566 yards and six touchdowns in just eight games. Unfortunately, the second-year pro tore his ACL and missed the remainder of LA’s season.
Kupp returned to action in 2019 and put together the first full season of his career. Appearing in all 16 games, the wideout finished the season with 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and 10 touchdowns on 134 targets. At the time, all of those numbers were career highs. In 2020, Kupp played in 15 games while recording 92 receptions for 974 yards and three touchdowns on 124 targets.
Throughout the course of his career, Kupp has recorded 433 receptions for 5,517 yards and 40 touchdowns on 598 targets.
