The 25-year-old cornerback has been good over the last two seasons. In 2020, he snagged a career high three interceptions in just 12 games played. He also had 12 pass deflections and 63 total tackles. He missed four games in 2020 with a hamstring injury and a concussion. Griffin made his first pro bowl in 2019. Despite not getting a single interception during the whole season, Griffin was able to deflect 13 passes and post a top ten PFF grade. Griffin got to learn from one of the best when he came into the league. He got to play alongside Richard Sherman for part of his first year until Sherman went down with Ruptured Achilles. Griffin was then thrown into action as the top cornerback on the team. He registered 15 pass deflections and 59 tackles during his rookie season. Griffin played in 15 games that season but he started only 11 of them. In his second season, he took over as a fulltime starting cornerback. He had two interceptions but a career low eight pass deflections. He was able to record 62 total tackles and three tackles for loss.

Griffin was taken in the 3rd round out of UCF. He played four years at the school. The first two years of his career he didn’t see the field a lot as he played in only ten total games. His career started to pick up in his junior season when he played in 11 games and recorded 43 tackles and 11 pass deflections. His breakout season came during his senior season. He had four interceptions and 15 pass deflections. Griffin also had 49 total tackles and scored one touchdown. The six-foot cornerback was picked with the 90th overall pick after having an exceptional senior season.
