KC Carmichael is an American sports writer and fiction author. She is an ex-figure skater who spent her childhood in ice rinks all around North America. She lives in Chicago, where she holds two controversial opinions about her beloved city: that winter is the superior season, for hockey, obviously, and the actual Chicago-style pizza is pan pizza cut into squares for easy sharing.
