2019-20 Central Division Preview

The guys are back after they looked at some RFA deals for the third part in their preview series. Alex and Chace take a look at the 2019-20 Central Division in today’s episode. As always, they split the division into three tiers. Missing playoffs, wild card hunt, and division leaders.

For the first time, they only have one team in the bottom tier. The guys agree the outlook for just one team in this division is pretty poor. With little cap space, it has made it hard for them to find any depth and that will show. However, they try and look at what could go regardless.

Next, they take a look at a group of teams that are in the middle tier. The guys take a look at what is happening with Dustin Byfuglien, Patrik Laine, and Kyle Connor and how it may affect their team. Chace thinks they may be in huge trouble if Byfuglien doesn’t return.

Finally, the guys take a look at the top three in the division. They also agree there are a very obvious top two teams and then a mix of potential after that. The guys talk about how the playoff push should be interesting for the 2019-20 Central Division, tune in for all of this and more with the MnM Hockey Podcast!
