Stanley Cup Playoffs Preview
Today on The Royal Road: A Hockey Podcast, Oscar is joined by Brad and Connor. All three went to high school together. Brad has a fantastic eye test and picks up things that most people miss, and his opinions usually align with what the numbers dictate despite not using advanced metrics to formulate his opinions. Connor is a fellow Brock University Sport Management student, recently graduating and has a deep understanding of hockey as a whole. The boys get into the Stanley Cup playoffs preview, starting with first-round matchups, giving some in-depth thoughts on each series that will be played.
Secondly, Brad, Connor and Oscar go through their playoff bracket and talk about which teams they think will go far and which teams will get upset along the way. Third, they talk about some potential black aces come the playoffs. Players like Adam Brooks, Nick Holden and more come up in conversation.
Finally, the three go off script and go on a quick tangent on the upcoming Seattle Kraken team and give some brief thoughts on the expansion draft.
