St. Louis Blues Provide Injury Update on Dylan Holloway

On Tuesday, the St. Louis Blues provided an update on injured forward Dylan Holloway. The forward did have surgery, but will be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season.

Holloway Injury

Holloway played in 77 games this season for the Blues, but missed their last few games and all of their first-round series. Holloway’s loss was noticeable, especially on the team’s second line.

Holloway joined the Blues after signing an offer sheet alongside Philip Broberg. Holloway made an imediate impact with the team, scoring 26 goals in 77 games, and likely would have reached the 30-goal mark had he not gotten hurt. Contributions from Holloway, among others, helped the Blues reach the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2022.

Looking Ahead

Despite having surgery, Holloway is expected to be ready for next season. This is great news for the Blues. Holloway will slide back into a top-six role with the Blues. He will likely play alongside Jordan Kyrou, as the pair played well together this season.

It is possible the Blues may look to extend Holloway this summer following his breakout season. At 23 years old, Holloway may only get better. Extending him now may save the Blues money down the road. On the other hand, they may wait and see if he can replicate that success next season.
