Florida Panthers Forward Signs New Contract

One of the top forwards on the open market now has a home. Sam Reinhart has a new contract, which is much deserved. Reinhart’s new deal will see him locked in for the next eight yearsand will have terms announced tomorrow. After a career year, he gets a hefty pay raise and security for his future.

Reinhart Signs Big Contract

The Florida Panthers were a machine this season, and a lot of it had to do with the stellar play of Reinhart. When you think of prominent scoring threats you think of Auston Matthews, David Pastrnak, and even in a down year Alex Ovechkin. However, Reinhart was right up there with those names and had a strong scoring season.

Reinhart went on to score 57 goals, which shattered his career high of 33 he set during the 2020-21 season. Furthermore, he scored 27 of those goals on the power play, as he was a threat on the man advantage. Also, his production as a whole rose, as he finished with 94 points which led the Panthers. He was a cog in the Panthers machine and he was arguably the best player for them all year long.

What This Means

This Reinhart contract is great for both sides. The (enter team) is getting a prominent player. Ever since being traded from the Buffalo Sabres to the Panthers, his game offensively has been taken to new heights. Reinhart has emerged as a legit scoring threat and is a player that can be plugged in key offensive situations.

This team is getting a player that can log top minutes and go up against the opposing teams’ best. If you need scoring and production, he is a player to lean on for that. This is a great deal for Reinhart but also for the club as they advance.
