Ottawa Senators Trade Deadline

Alex is back with another episode of the Last Word on Sens Podcast! After a very tough stretch of games, there was lots of intrigue surrounding the Ottawa Senators NHL Trade deadline. However, the week itself ended up being very quiet for the team. What does that mean for the Sens? To break this down, Brandon Piller makes his return to the podcast!

Together, the guys talk about the lack of action from the Senators this week and whether they were surprised, disappointed, or OK with that. They also discuss what the long-term outlook of the team is and what they should be looking for as the year continues to roll on.

Next, they look at a waiver claim the team made, as well as one that the team decided not to make and give their thoughts on the impact of that. Before finally diving into the Vladimir Tarasenko trade and its return. Discussing the highs and lows of emotion when seeing the trade and the initial return. Before talking through the thought process as to what led to such a disappointing return.

Who is Alex Metzger? Alex is from the Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada.
