NHL Predictions
Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights
Series: Stars 1-3 Golden Knights
Our featured game in this NHL predictions has the Dallas Stars looking to send the Western Conference Final back to Texas. The Stars got an overtime-winner from Joe Pavelski to extend the series. Jake Oettinger will once again get the call in goal and looked much better than in Game 3. Oettinger was pulled for Scott Wedgewood after a shaky start. However, he can still steal a matchup if he’s on his game. Roope Hintz continues to have his best post-season of his young career with 24 points and Jason Robertson is second with 17. Dallas will still be without captain Jamie Benn, who will be serving the second game of his suspension for his hit on Mark Stone in Game 3.
Adin Hill suffered just his second loss of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the Knights’ 3-2 OT loss. Hill will once again get the start in goal for Vegas, which is looking for its second Cup Final appearance. Jack Eichel continues to enjoy his first post-season action with a team-leading 17 points. The Golden Knights’ strong play down the middle has boosted them this entire playoff run. Vegas has also been very underrated on defence and made goals hard to come by. Six Golden Knights players have at least 10 post-season points.
T-Mobile Arena has been a tough place to play and the Golden Knights should set up a showdown with the Florida Panthers after taking this one.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-2.
