What This Means for Seattle

The Kraken appear to be getting a solid start to building an immediate playoff team. Their trio in goal appears to be set, with former Florida Panthers goalie Driedger the de facto starter ahead of Vanecek and Daccord. It’s a cost-effective and young lineup of netminders that should serve Seattle well out of the gate.

They might even be looking better on defence. A left side of Mark Giordano, Jamie Oleksiak, and Vince Dunn is already one of the best in the league, and with a solid defensive presence in Adam Larsson on the right, general manager Ron Francis is in the process of forming one of the best defences in the Western Conference.
