Alex is back after a few weeks off to enjoy the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. With those wrapping up, it is time to look forward to the offseason. One of the biggest events will no doubt be the Seattle Kraken expansion draft. Because this will be such a big event, Alex has Dan Morse on to join him and break it all down.
The two look at all kinds of things such as how can Seattle build this team effectively? As well, what are the expectations like for year one in Seattle? Alex wants to see the focus be on cap space and draft picks, using them effectively to set up a nice future. However, there also needs to be a balance between that and entertaining fans. Losing a bunch of games 2-1 seems like a bad strategy for a new team. They also take a look at what player the Ottawa Senators may lose.
