In episode 68, Raffi and Noah are joined by good friend Jonathan, stepping in for the absent Logan. Firstly, they discuss the end of the Chicago Blackhawks’ season, agreeing it was a better season than expected. Secondly, they dive into the incident between Tom Wilson, Artemi Panarin, and Pavel Buchnevich. All three concur there needs to be some sort of consistency within the NHL Department of Player Safety in regards to punishments, and that Wilson should have been more severely punished.
Finally, moving on to the main topic of the NHL playoffs contenders and pretenders, they go over each of the divisions. Starting in the West, the Minnesota Wild will have a difficult road, as they will likely face the Colorado Avalanche. Next, they move to the North, the boys discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers. Down to the Central, the surprising Florida Panthers have made waves in the regular season, but can they deliver in the playoffs? The show concludes with a review of the four teams locked in a playoff spot in the East. Make sure to stay tuned next week as the playoffs fast approach!
