NHL Predictions Including Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames

San Jose Sharks vs. Vegas Golden Knights

Head-to-head: Sharks 0-4 Golden Knights

This season, the San Jose Sharks have lost all four games they have played against the Vegas Golden Knights. With some being closer than others, the Golden Knights have managed to come out on top no matter what. Heading into tonight’s match-up, the Sharks seek revenge from their opponents, who ended their three-game winning streak on Monday night.  With San Jose’s netminders struggling, they will look to Evander Kane and Logan Couture to lead the team to a victory. At the same time, Mark Stone and company will expand their winning streak to four games. They are continuing to solidify themselves as the top team in the Honda West Division. Even though Vegas has the upper hand, anything can happen at any time in a hectic season like this.

Prediction: Sharks win 5-3

St. Louis Blues vs. Los Angeles Kings

Head-to-head: Blues 2-4 Kings

The Los Angeles Kings are only five points behind the St. Louis Blues for fourth place in the West division coming into tonight’s game. The Kings had a rough time through their first 12 games of the season, going 3-9. They have been able to turn it around as of late but still find themselves playing way too inconsistent to make any significant moves. Going from a five-game losing streak to a six-game winning streak, back to a four-game losing streak is like shooting yourself in the foot. What the Kings have done has been impressive for the team rostered. Yet, they still need to find that extra level in their game, which evidently will come with time for these young guys.

On the other side of the ice, the Blues have lost five games in a row. While the organization and its fans are ecstatic over the return of Vladimir Tarasenko to the line-up. It has not quite been the spark everyone has expected, even though he has four points in the four games he has played. Vladimir and the rest of the team must find a way to turn things around.

Prediction: Blues win 4-2

Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames

Head-to-head: Oilers 3-2 Flames

For the final and featured game of the night, we have the Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames. This match-up tonight will be the sixth round of the Battle of Alberta this season. While the Oilers have had the upper-hand, Darryl Sutter has been, more or less, a fresh breath of air for the Flames organization. Since taking over behind the bench, the Flames have gone 3-1-1 and are riding a three-game winning streak into tonight’s tilt, with most of these games ending with only a goal or two differential. This game should be an exciting one for hockey fans everywhere.

Now that we are at the halfway point for pretty much every team in the league. The players are getting so sick and tired of seeing the same opponents, this game could be the closest thing to a playoff match until May. On the other side of the ice, Connor McDavid is scoring like there is no tomorrow. As the league leader in points and assists, McDavid keeps his team within the playoff hunt, as they are tied for second place in the Scotia North Division with 36 points. Just two games behind the Toronto Maple Leafs.  In tonight’s game, the Flames will have to throw everything they have at the Oilers if they want to find a way to even the series.

Prediction: Oilers win 6-5
