NHL Predictions Featuring Ottawa Senators vs Edmonton Oilers

Vegas Golden Knights vs. St. Louis Blues

Head-to-Head: Golden Knights 0 – 1 Blues

The Vegas Golden Knights and the St. Louis Blues face off in just their second matchup of the season tonight. Their first meeting ended in a 5-4 shootout win for the Blues. The Golden Knights currently sit at first in the West Division, the Blues in second. With just one point in between the clubs, this game could put the Blues in first.

While both teams have been on a two-gaming losing streak, one has to break tonight. With the Blue starting their toughest stretch of the season and missing three key forwards to long-term injury, the Golden Knights will come out on top.

Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-2.

Arizona Coyotes vs. Minnesota Wild

Head-to-Head: Coyotes 1 – 1 Wild

The Minnesota Wild currently sits at third in the West Division with a record of 15-8-1. Coming off a two-win series against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Wild are playing the best they have in years. An explosion of offensive production helped them sink the Golden Knights and should help them roll over the Arizona Coyotes, as well. With a record of 12-10-4, the Coyotes are sixth in the West. They don’t have the offence to beat the Wild, evidenced by just 14 shots on goal against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.

Prediction: Wild win 3-1.

Los Angeles Kings vs. Colorado Avalanche

Head-to-Head: Kings 1 – 1 Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche and the Los Angeles Kings currently sit at fourth and fifth in the West Division rankings, respectively. In their last game, the Avalanche outshot their opponent 46-14. Yet, it still took them till overtime to clinch the win. On the other hand, in their last game, the Kings dominated the Anaheim Ducks, 5-1. But, with Nathan MacKinnon back on the ice, Philipp Grubauer on top of his game, and their huge number of shots on goal, the Avs will beat the Kings.

Prediction: Avalanche win 5-3.

San Jose Sharks vs. Anaheim Ducks

Head-to-Head: Sharks 2 – 1 Ducks

The San Jose Sharks and the Anaheim Ducks face off in their fourth game of the season. These two clubs are the worst in the West. The Sharks with a record of 9-11-3, the Ducks with a record of 8-13-6. They sit at just one point apart. The Sharks currently lead their season series, 2-1. They will win their third of the season against the Ducks tonight with Timo Meier and Tomas Hertl back on the ice.

Prediction: Sharks win 2-1.

Ottawa Senators vs Edmonton Oilers

Head-to-Head: Senators 0 – 6 Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers are just four points out of first place in the North Division. On a three-game win streak, two of those against the Senators, it’s a pretty safe bet to say the Oilers will come out on top tonight. The Senators are currently last in the North, as they have been most of the season, with a record of 9-19-1. The Oilers are looking to sweep the Senators on the season and are only two games away. The Senators can’t keep up with the Oiler’s offensive production from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Defence and goaltending are also to the advantage of the Oilers. Edmonton will collect another two points tonight and clinch their seventh win against Ottawa this season.

Prediction: Oilers win 6-2.
