On episode 44 of the podcast, Logan, Raffi, and Noah discuss a variety of topics, including the Patric Hornqvist trade and why Jim Rutherford made that trade, Torey Krug‘s future with the Boston Bruins and his NHL free agency plans, and 16 teams’ free agency goals. The Hornqvist trade seemed to be a loss for the Pittsburgh Penguins, but the boys broke down the trade. It seems that Rutherford has a plan to retool the Penguins that will come to fruition this offseason. Torey Krug’s future was also discussed, and whether or not he will stay with the Bruins. Krug could easily make between $8-9 million on another team, but if he wants to stay with Boston, he will have to take another pay cut.

In the second part of the show, the boys discuss the free agency plans for 16 teams. Some teams, like the Colorado Avalanche, Carolina Hurricanes, and Chicago Blackhawks have very little to do. But others, like the Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames, will have to have an active offseason if they want to be playoff contenders. The boys explain which positions each team needs in order to make their team as strong as possible. Make sure to tune into episode 63 in order to hear the second half of the teams!

Who are Logan, Raffi, and Noah? They are three high school friends who bonded over their strong love for hockey and decided to share their thoughts with the world via podcast. All three are die-hard Blackhawks fans, but Logan also cheers for the Hurricanes and Raffi roots for the Bruins. You can find Logan and Noah’s articles on Last Word On Hockey
