Last Word on Habs Pod: Montreal Canadiens Playoff Preview
‘This week, the guys break down how the Habs were able to get past the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL play-in. The guys also discuss if they like the concept of the play-in round in general. Johannes was all in to start but Connor seems to have converted, somewhat.
The guys talk about the draft lottery, which was won by the New York Rangers. That means they have the first overall pick and are picking Alexis Lafreniere. Johannes has a hot take/prediction about the longer-term future of Lafreniere in New York.
Then our hosts talk about the Habs match up in the first round against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers have looked very impressive so far, winning the round-robin seeding by going 3-0. Connor and Johannes break down where they see the Habs might be able to take advantage and pull off another upset.
