NHL Comic Captions for 2019-20 Boston Bruins

David Pastrnak

David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins has done everything imaginable to show his dominance this season in the NHL. Try 48 goals and 47 assists in 70 games. Or, go with 20 power-play goals. Then, there’s his amazing 17.2 percent shooting accuracy. He was tied with Alex Ovechkin for the league-high in goals and led the NHL in man-advantage tallies. Oh yeah, forgot his 10 game-winning goals. Pretty amazing, huh?

He’s only 23-years-old which means he has many more years to shine and show off his offensive might. Pastrnak signed a six-year $40 million contract in September of 2017. That’s quite a deal for Boston considering other players of his calibre are taking in $11 million. To say he’s underpaid is an understatement.

One thing is certain, Pastrnak is a valuable commodity and helps this team be all it is. A Stanley Cup can’t be far off in their future.

Without delay, here is our Pastrnak NHL comic captions selection.

Brad Marchand

Say what you want about Brad Marchand, he’s one hell of a hockey player. Is he quirky and borderline gross at times? Yes. Does he do it to get into your head and distract you from your game? Of course. But how can anyone discount his production? He has averaged 89 points over the last three seasons and he makes it look easy. For a seventh-round pick in 2006 who stands just 5′-9″, 181 pounds, he’s done alright for himself.

Marchand is one tough customer too. He has 756 PIM in 751 career NHL games, so he knows how to rough it up if the need arises. He is deadly with his shot possessing an average 15.7 percent shooting accuracy. Get him the puck and he’ll bury it.

While Brad has some deficiencies with his behaviour at times, he’s still a quality hockey player. A player other players hate to play against. Who could blame them?

Here are our NHL comic captions for Marchand.

Tuukka Rask

Tuukka Rask may have an unusual name but he certainly is an excellent netminder. This season completely displays that. He has a stellar 26-8-6 record with a league-leading 2.12 goals-against-average. His save percentage is .929 with five shutouts. You really can’t ask for more than that from a goalie.

It seems that the Bruins have it all. A first line that scores at will. A defence which is tops in the NHL allowing a stingy 2.39 goals a game, and a goalie tandem of Rask and Jaroslav Halak. When the season was halted with Rask in net the Bruins were on their way to another excellent season. It seems like they can be a force competing for the Cup if they continue to play so well.

With Rask in net, anything is possible.

Here’s our NHL comic caption for Tuukka Rask.
