Philly Sports Podcast- The First Month of the Philadelphia Flyers Schedule

PHiladelphia Flyers Schedule

Puck drop on the NHL season is just about a month away, and that means it’s time for season previews to begin. On this week’s You Would Think, the guys start a multi-week series breaking down the schedule for our very own Philadelphia Flyers. An NHL season is full of peaks and valleys, injuries, hot streaks, suspensions, and more. The guys do their best to predict how the Flyers are going to do over a 12-game slate in October.

YWT #36- First Month Of the Philadelphia Flyers Schedule

The first month of the Flyers schedule is interesting. After the month ends, the Flyers will no longer see the defending Western Conference Champion Vegas Golden Knights. They will also be done with theĀ Colorado Avalanche, who are looking to make it back to the postseason after a great second half in 2017-18. The month also includes dates with the San Jose Sharks (the home opener for the Flyers, October 9th), the Boston Bruins, and a couple of divisional games before ending the month in California against the Anaheim Ducks, a game that kicks off the team’s Western Conference swing to open November.

Also on this week’s show, the boys preview the Philadelphia Eagles NFL season openerĀ and talk about the Philadelphia Phillies hunt for October as the MLB postseason draws ever closer.
