YWT #18- Philadelphia Flyers Off-Season Preview
The NHL off-season is officially upon the Philadelphia Flyers. And, with that, the organization faces some difficult decisions. The statuses of Matt Read, Brandon Manning, and Johnny Oduya have been announced, but other Flyers remain in limbo.
Robert Hagg, Petr Mrazek, and Valtteri Filppula could reach free agency this year, if the team can’t sign them by July 1. Along with that, the Flyers have the 14th and 19th picks in the first round of the upcoming NHL Entry Draft. Will the team keep these picks, or will a bigger trade be a part of Ron Hextall’s plans?
This week’s You Would Think attempts to answer those questions. The guys also talk about what the Eagles did in the NFL Draft this past weekend, the Sixers second-round matchup against the Boston Celtics, and the Phillies’ poor results of late.
