World Juniors: Team USA Selection Camp Roster Named

The 2018 World Junior Championships are right around the corner. Countries are starting to pick their teams. 15 forwards, 10 defencemen and three goaltenders were named to the Team USA Selection Camp Roster for the 2018 World Junior Hockey Championships today.  The 28-man camp roster will eventually need to be whittled down to a 22-man final roster, likely 13 forwards, seven defenceman and two goaltenders.

The team is highlighted by Dallas Stars prospect Jake Oettinger, New York Islanders prospect Kieffer Bellows, Montreal Canadiens prospect Ryan Poehling, Ottawa Senators prospect Logan Brown, Buffalo Sabres draftee Casey MittlestadtEdmonton Oilers  prospect Kailer Yamamoto, 2018 draft eligibles Quinn Hughes, and Brady Tkachuk.
