Kentucky Recruiting Profile- Danny Clark
As part of the series looking at Mark Stoops’ 2017 class, the focus of this Kentucky Recruiting Profile is on Danny Clark.
The 6-3, 230 pound quarterback originally committed to Ohio State after his freshmen year. He remained in their class for three years before breaking ties in September. In his decommitment letter, Clark said “he was forced to believe he didn’t fit in with the Buckeyes offense.”
Less than a month later, he pledged for the Wildcats after their win over Mississippi State.
Clark ranks as the 18th best pro-style quarterback by 247Sports. He has already enrolled at Kentucky and will take place in the spring practice. With Drew Barker’s status still up in the air, Clark will battle for playing time behind Stephen Johnson.
