As part of the series taking a look at Mark Stoops’ 2017 class this Kentucky Recruiting Profile is on Joshua Paschal.
The 6-4, 255 pound defensive end chose the Wildcats over Oklahoma, Penn State and Notre Dame. He rose over 100 spots to check in at number 191 in the final rankings by 247Sports.
Kentucky Recruiting Profile- Joshua Paschal
Paschal is considered one of the most athletic defensive ends in the 2017 class and the number seven prospect in the state of Maryland.
His brother TraVaughn Paschal is a former Kentucky player and current graduate assistant under Stoops.
Coach James Franklin and the Nittany Lions made one last push last weekend to flip Paschal. However he left no doubt he would be in Lexington in the fall.

Kentucky has a number of players coming back next season on the defensive line. Paschal has the luxury of not having to contribute right away.
