Kentucky Recruiting Profile- Javonte Richardson
With National Signing Day upon us, it is time to take a look at some of the players in Mark Stoops’ incoming class. This Kentucky Recruiting Profile looks at JaVonte Richardson.
A 6-4, 205 pound athlete out of Mt. Washington, Ohio, Richardson ranks as the second highest rated player for the Cats by Rivals in the 2017 class. He ranks as the 5th best prospect in the state of Ohio and 114th best player overall.
Gaining well over 1,000 yards in his senior season, Richardson also starred on special teams. With his size and explosiveness, the coaching staff sees him as a future number one receiver.
However, the Cats are well stocked at the wide receiver position heading into 2017. The possibility exists that Richardson redshirts or plays sparingly next season.
