The Michigan Wolverines have added their second wide receiver recruit. Four-star prospect Roman Wilson has signed with the Wolverines. The 6’0, 175-pound receiver is looking to assist a Michigan team who was 50th last season in passing yards.
Who Is Roman Wilson?
Roman Wilson hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended St. Louis High School, playing both football and track and field. As one of the focal point wide receivers, Wilson helped his team win four state championships in the Open Division of HHSAA.
In his senior year, Wilson generated 1,025 yards on 61 catches and recorded 11 touchdowns. The state championship game showcased Wilson’s speed and big-game play, evidenced by his eight catches and 171 receiving yards.
Wilson’s natural speed and agility have earned him four-star honours from 240Sports. 240Sports has ranked him as the 38th best receiver in the country and the third-best coming out of Hawaii. He was selected to play in the 2020 Polynesian Bowl All-Star Game and along with A.J. Henning, are the receiver recruits who have signed with Michigan on National Signing Day.
