All-American DE Khris Bogle Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top defensive recruits. Four-star defensive end Khris Bogle has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida as Bogle was originally committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Mullen likes Bogle’s skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators defense in the future. Khris Bogle is the second defensive end to sign with the Gators alongside Lloyd Summerall.

Who is Khris Bogle?

Khris Bogle is a four-star defensive end out of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The newest Florida signee is one of the top defensive ends in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as he was considering other top college football programs. Bogle signed with Florida over Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee and USC.

On 247 Sports, Bogle is the 49th ranked recruit and the third ranked weak-side defensive end in the country. On Rivals, Bogle is the 66th ranked recruit and the second ranked weak-side defensive end in the country. The Gators have added an elite pass rusher who could really make an impact in the future. Bogle has the potential to be one of Florida’s top defensive ends in the future. The in-state edge rusher is extremely off the edge and would be a great fit for Todd Grantham’s defense. Bogle could also play the same role as Jachai Polite.
