Under Armour All-American CB Kaiir Elam Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators have officially signed their top offensive line commit in four-star offensive guard Yousef Mugharbil.

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of the top defensive recruits. Four-star cornerback Kaiir Elam has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida as Elam is one of the top recruits in Florida. Gators head coach Dan Mullen likes Elam’s skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators defense in the future. Kaiir Elam is the fourth cornerback to sign with the Florida Gators with Chris Steele, Jaydon Hill, and Chester Kimbrough.

Who is Kaiir Elam?

Kaiir Elam is a four-star cornerback out of The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Florida. The newest Florida signee is one of the top defensive backs in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Elam was being pursued by many of the top teams in the country. Elam really took off in recruiting once he stepped on to the recruiting scene. Elam signed with Florida over Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State and Texas.

On the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Elam is the 48th ranked recruit and the sixth ranked cornerback in the country. On ESPN, Elam is the 59th ranked recruit and the fourth ranked cornerback in the country. The Gators have added an elite cornerback who could really make an impact in the future. Henderson has the potential to be one of Florida’s top cornerbacks in the future. The Under Armour All-American is a Florida legacy as his uncle, Matt Elam, played for the Gators and was a first round pick for the Baltimore Ravens.
