Noah Cain Chooses Penn State

The running back room at Penn State just got a little bit better. The addition of four star running back Noah Cain is a big one for the Nittany Lions. He will join fellow early signee and four star running back Devyn Ford as the second running back in the 2019 class. He signed his NLI on ESPN2 this morning after visiting Happy Valley in November for the Wisconsin game. Mark Allen and Jonathan Thomas are graduating and exhausting their eligibility and Miles Sanders is potentially leaving for the NFL draft a year early.

Adding two four star running backs to the group was a goal for Penn State running backs coach Ja’Juan Seider that just came to fruition. He will have the ability to learn from Ricky Slade and Journey Brown before stepping onto the field in Beaver Stadium. In addition to Slade and Brown, Notre Dame transfer C.J. Holmes is also be a guy to look to. While picking up the Penn State hat Cain stated, “For the next three or four years I’ll be at Penn State.” He went on to add, “They’re building something special up there.”

Cain is definitely something special. The new Nittany Lion ran for 3,751 yards in his high school career. He also piled up 47 touchdowns and was voted co-MVP of his team his senior season.
