He can bring the necessary athleticism to defend the wings while also showing potential as a weakside shot-blocker. Next to guys like LaMelo Ball and Kon Knueppel, Carr slots in nicely as an athletic defender who can handle tougher defensive assignments.
Carr is an even better fit with the Hornets on the offensive end. As one of the best three-point shooting teams, with Knueppel as the NBA leader in three-point makes, Carr’s excellent shooting would not look out of place.
