Honorable Mention: Jaylin Williams and Aaron Wiggins

By now, you have seen many notable names on the Thunder bench. However, there are still both Jaylin Williams and Aaron Wiggins, who have been consistent players as well.
For starters, J-Will is stepping up the most for this season with Holmgren and IHart missing key games. In fact, he’s improved greatly, shooting better from deep and being much more confident overall. Wiggs, on the other hand, has shown he’s still capable of stepping up when needed. Oklahoma City has been calling upon these two time after time, and they’ve yet to disappoint.
Aaron Wiggins on their mindset for the rest of the regular season: “Having guys fully healthy, just being able to find a rhythm and a flow into the postseason. You can’t take these last weeks lightly. There’s an opportunity in front of us to really test ourselves.” pic.twitter.com/uB4aVbkZUG

This season, J-Will has seen career highs all around, while Wiggs has proven he can be a lethal scorer. Both guys have seen some starting nods as well, which is quite remarkable for the team’s depth.
Will the OKC Bench Shine in the Playoffs?
Injuries have ravaged this Thunder team for most of the season. However, it’s also become a blessing in disguise, showing the full potential of the OKC bench so far. Right now, they’re done convincing others they can play ball. Now that the postseason is closing in, fans are expecting more from these players. They may not be the best, but they’re getting better than ever.
The fact they were winning games without the main guys is just astounding. As the final stretch begins, OKC’s bench will be something to watch. Defense wins championships, sure. For the Thunder, however, every man is important, including the reserves. Now that’s a true recipe for greatness.
