A top 5 quarterback from a year ago and he only should get stronger. Luck has the offensive fire power now to be pressure the top 3 for a spot. Reggie Wayne will be back from his injury. TY Hilton is back and ready as ever. While Hakeem Nicks is coming to show he still has what it takes. That has to be a top 5 receiving core in the NFL. Don’t be surprised if he surpasses 30 touchdowns this year. The only fear of Luck is he isn’t always consistent throughout the season. He only had four games where he posted more than 20 points. Matthew Stafford has a cannon for an arm and the best WR in the league by his side. Additionally, the Lions added explosive playmakers in Golden Tate and Eric Ebron, while managing to retain steady RB Joique Bell. Even with relatively conservative Jim Caldwell on board, the Lions will continue to throw in bunches and allow Stafford to pad his stats. However, Stafford has shown inconsistent mechanics, which lead to a whopping 19 interceptions and a mediocre completion percentage of 58.6. Staffords numbers always tend towards the top, because of the sheer number of times the Lions throw the ball. When he is on, he is capable of winning you a week, but his turnovers hinder him from being a truly elite quarterback. Joth Bhullar – @jothb27

After being sidelined for basically 8 games in 2013, Aaron Rodgers is healed up and ready to rebound. With all of his returning receivers healthy and a few rookies to bolster the roster, Rodgers should have bountiful resources to earn you an astonishing return on your early round investment. Drew Brees is a mainstay at the top of the fantasy points charts. With over 5000 yards passing in each of the last three years and a total of 128 touchdowns in that period, it is a safe bet that Brees will be both one of the top performing and drafted QBs in fantasy in 2014. Sean Payton’s pass heavy offense and the high powered offense will allow Brees to rack up fantasy points. His favorite target Jimmy Graham, who accounted for over 1200 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2013, is now under a new contract. New weapon Brandon Cooks’ speed, should allow Brees to pass the 5000 yard mark again. The biggest remaining question for Brees is can the Saints replace Darren Sproles production. The versatile back, who was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles this off season, made 71 catches for over 600 yards and was 4thfor the saints in both catches and yards in 2013. The question is can they replace that production either through Cooks, or running back Khiry Robinson. Robert Mitchell – @LWOSRob

Peyton Manning is coming off arguably the greatest regular season for a quarterback in NFL history and has been a top five quarterback for nearly a decade now. Manning has the highest floor of all QBs, and as last season shows has incredible upside. He is absolutely worth his late first round ADP, but those expecting record breaking numbers again will be disappointed. Manning lost red zone favorite Eric Decker, Wes Welker is a year older and coming off a season of serious concussion issues. Finally, Manning will have four games against the NFC West and its incredible defenses. Draft Manning for consistent, elite production, but be wary of some of the early warning signs of the decline of his supporting cast.
