We at Last Word on Sports are always looking to bring our fans new and exciting sports coverage. This week is no different as we bring a new sports podcast produced by the same people who bring you our popular Hammer Radio program, its our latest sports radio show: The Three Point Convert. It’s a two man show this week with Dan “The Doctor” Ryan busy saving lives, so Jeff Hall and Mike Jeffery are here to discuss this week in NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB.
The then boys start with looking at the NBA, and begin making predictions for the first round of the NBA playoffs, looking at what favorites could fall, what dark horses could surprise and what else to watch for in the final week of the season and start of the big dance.
They also look at the big news in the NFL, which is the investigation into Colin Kaepernick, Ricardo Lockette, and Quinton Patton and the possible sexual assault charges against them. How does it effect his public perception and his on-going contract negotiations. They also look at Johnny Manziel’s wonderlic score and the DeSean Jackson signings.
They move on to the NHL and look at the inexperience of Brendan Shanahan and Trevor Linden and how they have been made Presidents in Toronto and Vancouver, respectively. They also look at their NHL playoff predictions and look at who are the teams to watch in the chase for Lord Stanley.
The Boys look at the first couple weeks of the MLB season and the early surprises and disappointments of the baseball season as well as all the news from around the majors.
