We at Last Word on Sports are always looking to bring our fans new and exciting sports coverage. This week is no different as we bring a new sports podcast produced by the same people who bring you our popular Hammer Radio program, its our latest sports radio show: The Three Point Convert. The Three Point Convert will be a weekly podcast talking this week in sports with hosts Jeff Hall (@LWOSJeff), Mike Jeffery, and Dan “The Doctor” Ryan. This week guest host Jeremy Murray jumps on board with the boys.
This week the boys look at MLB with most teams set for opening day in the next few days. You’ll hear their AL, NL and World Series picks, along with all the major awards including Cy Young, MVP and Rookie of the Year. They look at the big news of the week which are the Miguel Cabrera and Mike Trout contract extensions, and whether these two stars can live up to the money that they have been given. Being out of Toronto, they also give a full Blue Jays Preview.
The Boys move on to the NBA and look at the Raptors clinching a playoff spot, and what it means for the future of the team. They also look ahead to the NBA playoffs and make some predictions on how things will go as teams fight for position down the NBA stretch drive. They follow it up with NBA award predictions.
Looking at the NFL, the boys look at all the big moves of free agency and analyze what they mean.
Last they get ready for the NHL stretch drive with a look at how the playoff picture is looking going into the final two weeks of the season.
