2018 Tour Championship Final Round Highlights

After four days of competition at East Lake Golf Club two new champions are crowned. After a season of grueling competition, the richest prize in golf belongs to the English for the first time in FedEx Cup history. Following a final birdie at 18 Justin Rose finished tied for fourth place, good enough to take home the first FedEx Cup of his career.

While a $10 million FedEx Cup prize is a major headline any other day, the champion everyone had their eyes on was Tiger Woods. After 1,867 days Woods finally claimed his 80th career victory. From Tiger to Rose and everyone in the field, the final day of the 2018 PGA Tour Championship gave way to host of highlight to close out the season.

The field chases the ‘Big Cat’ and the FedEx Cup

After a rough go of the opening two rounds, previous FedEx Cup leader Bryson DeChambeau fought back into contention on Sunday.

Entering his fourth Ryder Cup next week, Rickie Fowler is ready to put on a show in Paris with shots like his birdie bunker hole out at 14.

Dialed in once again, DeChambeau drains his birdie putt at 14 from long range.

When the wedge doesn’t work, Patton Kizzire used the putter from off the green to go up, over and in for birdie at the par-5 18th.

2014 FedEx Cup champion Billy Horschel made a late Sunday charge up the leaderboard to finish in sole possession of second place thanks to incredible focus on the greens.

Just when golf fans thought he was out of it, Dustin Johnson surged back into contention for the FedEx cup down the stretch Sunday.

With the FedEx Cup on the line Justin Rose claims his first season long championship with a closing birdie on his final hole of the tournament.

Woods wins once again at East Lake

Starting with a three stroke lead, Woods put his foot on the gas early with an opening birdie on his first hole of the day.

At the 13th hole, from 13 feet out to get to 13-under, Woods continued to roll during his back nine.

Sometimes it’s the lucky breaks that are the backbone of highlights in a Championship round as Woods found out at the 15th hole of the day.

After hitting his approach long Woods got up and down to save par and a two-stroke lead heading into the 18th hole.

A picture perfect drive from Woods on 18 had the crowd charged and ready to witness history at East Lake.

It didn’t take much to finish the hole but the roar wasn’t any less earth shattering as Tiger Woods capped off a monumental victory and his first since 2013.
