We are just a day away from WWE SummerSlam 2013 on Pay Per view. It is the 26th annual biggest party of the summer, taking place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. It has been there for the past five years. Let’s go through the card for this Sunday’s SummerSlam.
The SummerSlam kick off (pre-PPV match) is for the United States championship as Rob Van Dam challenges US champion Dean Ambrose. The Shield vs Mr. PPV should be an awesome to watch.
In Divas action we will see Natalya against Brie Bella. With the Total Divas show on the air I like this match up on the PPV.
Cody Rhodes faces Damien Sandow. This match has had a good build up after Rhodes was pushed off the ladder at Money In The Bank PPV and screwed over by his former Rhodes Scholars tag partner Sandow.
Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn go up against AJ Lee and Big E Langston. This should be some fun mixed tag action at SummerSlam.
Kane versus Bray Wyatt in a Ring Of Fire match. No one can get in no one can get out. Wyatt Family will not be able to run in and attack Kane.
World Heavyweight champion Alberto Del Rio goes up against Christian. This should be a very good wrestling match with a lot a near falls.
The Best vs The Beast as Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman versus CM Punk. I look forward to this match-up to be the best one on the show.
Finally for the WWE championship, John Cena goes up against hand picked opponent Daniel Bryan. This is going to be an awesome match and have a Wrestlemania feel to it.
My Predictions:
- Dean Ambrose beats RVD with The Shield’s help
- Natalya defeats Brie Bella by making her tap
- Cody Rhodes beats Damien Sandow
- Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn beat AJ and Big E and hopefully this ends the Kaitlyn/AJ/Dolph feud
- Bray Wyatt beats Kane in a Ring Of Fire match
- WHC champion Alberto Del Rio defeats Christian. I then see Christian getting a rematch at the next PPV
- WWE champion John Cena loses the WWE championship to Daniel Bryan but then Money in the Bank holder Randy Orton cashes in and beats Daniel Bryan for the WWE championship. We go on once again into the age of Orton and the viper is back.
- In my opinion the only true main event of The Best vs The Beast as Brock Lesnar will beat CM Punk. WWE will then follow up with Punk vs Lesnar #2 at Survivor Series PPV in November.
These are my predictions enjoy SummerSlam and don’t miss it this Sunday live on Pay Per View.
