We finally have a NXT Women’s Champion and it’s the self-proclaimed Anti-Diva. Paige, the best female wrestler in WWE’s development system won the NXT Women’s Championship on the July 25 episode of NXT. Prior to the July 25 episode, Paige defeated Tamina Snuka in the first round. Other quarter finals match-ups included Alicia Fox downing Bayley, Summer Rae taking down Sasha Banks and Emma defeating Aksana. In the second round, Paige went on to face Alicia Fox and defeated her by pinfall while Emma beat Fangango’s personal dancer Summer Rae. It was then down to the top women of the NXT Divas division on Thursday between Emma and Paige. It was a very, very good divas match. The best I have seen in the WWE in a decade.

It’s hard at this point not to deny that Paige is a true talent and the future of the WWE Diva’s division for years and years to come. I’m really proud of both Emma and Paige for bringing Women’s wrestling back to the WWE Universe.
