The 2016 Champions League group stage draw was held on Friday evening as 32 clubs learned their fate in this year’s competition. Group C appears to be the toughest group on paper with Barcelona, Manchester City, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Celtic making up the group.
Group E features four clubs all of which have a legitimate chance of advancing, which should make for some thrilling football. Defending champions Real Madrid were paired with German club Borussia Dortmund in what should an intriguing pairing in Group F.

Leicester City had a favourable draw as the defending Premier League champions look to make the most of their appearance in the Champions League. The Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich are paired with last year’s runners-up, Atlético Madrid.
