4th Line Podcast – The Ice Guardians Documentary, Roy Quits
This week the guys are pleased to have Adam Scorgie, producer of the upcoming documentary Ice Guardians, on the show to talk about the film which covers the history of enforcers in the game of hockey. Enforcers have been a part of the game of hockey and Ice Guardians tells their stories, talking to many of the NHL enforcers we’ve come to know over the past decades.
They also touch on Patrick Roy quitting as the coach and vice president of hockey operations of the Colorado Avalanche. They discuss the impact and potential replacements for the Avalanche, as well as if this changes Roy’s legacy. Harvard’s Jimmy Vesey is set for free agency and is another example of the way changes are happening in the way young players enter the league. Lastly, they enter the 2nd round of the 4th Line Favorite bracket as they try to decide the favorite player in the league.
Be sure to check back here next week for another edition of the Fourth Line Podcast
