It has been a long hard month for WWE superstar Adam Rose. He was suspended earlier this month for 60 days for violating WWE’s health and wellness policy alongside his colleague Konnor. Konnor has seemed to take his suspension quietly but Rose has been outspoken against his suspension. He stated that he was taking a prescribed medication and WWE knew about him taking the medication for over a year! Early Wednesday morning Rose was caught up in even more controversy when he was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida on two charges. Tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence.
Rose who has been with the company since 2010 started in Florida Championship Wrestling (now known as NXT). He started out as a jungle man known as Leo Kruger and even won the Florida Championship Wrestling heavyweight championship. He then changed his persona to Adam Rose a party animal that rides the rails on the exotic express. He was very over, and even prominently featured in the ESPN E60 special “Beind The Curtain”. A combination of his touching story, battling addiction and caring so much about his family as well as being so over with the NXT crowd got him a chance at the main roster. Rose started out flat and has never gained much momentum doing anything. He is currently a part of a faction known as the Social Outcasts led by Heath Slater who is flanked by Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, and the aforementioned Adam Rose.
Although Rose has shown some bright spots in his time as Leo Kruger and Adam Rose in NXT and FCW, his main roster run has been one to forget. When you are best known for being on a faction known as the Social Outcasts being outspoken against WWE is probably not the best idea. Add on top of that getting arrested and charged for something as serious as battery domestic violence Rose’s days as WWE superstar may be numbered. His story outside the ring is compelling and very touching. However when you represent a publicly traded company you simply cannot bring this amount of negative press onto the company. It might be best for Rose to serve his suspension, work with the WWE health and wellness representatives, and get his life back on track! He is a good ring worker, and has the ability to entertain a crowd. However more important than being a WWE superstar is being a good husband and father. Rose must battle his inner demons before he can continue battling inside the squared circle.
