The following is a press release from Saint Louis FC of the USL, concerning their latest player acquisition, midfielder Seth Rudolph.
ST. LOUIS, MO (April 22, 2016) – Saint Louis FC has announced the signing of midfielder Seth Rudolph.
Seth Rudolph returns to the United States after two seasons with Sandvikens IF, a member of the Swedish Football Association. Rudolph is a native of Belleville, Illinois and played in the St. Louis Scott Gallagher youth club.
Saint Louis FC Adds Midfielder Seth Rudolph
“Seth is a quality attacking player that will add depth and athleticism to our attack.” said Head Coach Dale Schilly. “His playing experience in Sweden adds another player with a good pedigree to our roster.”
Rudolph played at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. from 2009-2012. He led the team in goals in 2012 with seven and played in all 18 games his senior season. He was named to the Atlantic-10 First Team All-Conference three of his four collegiate years. Rudolph ended his GW career with 29 goals ranking him seventh all time in GW history.
Rudolph attended Belleville High School – West. He still holds the record for most goals in a single season with 23 goals.
